Fees & Payments
Jobsdone.biz will provide full job specifications and details of fees to be charged, per project, based on consultation with Clients.
Once job specifications and fees are agreed, Clients will be asked to sign an acceptance of the Job Specification, and the fees. This signature will be taken by Jobsdone.biz as confirmation that the Client has read and understood our Terms & Conditions.
Any later amendments to the Job Specification may result in increased fees, which will always be discussed in advance with the Client.
A deposit of 25% of the overall Job cost will be charged before work commences, with the balance being due and payable upon satisfactory completion of the work. Jobsdone.biz will provide detailed invoices (in £ Sterling) of amounts due and payment is required strictly within 30 days of date of invoice. Late payments will incur an additional charge of 3% of the outstanding balance, per month, until the balance is cleared.
Jobsdone.biz will undertake work for Clients within the UK, or overseas, provided the work is in English, and provided that any additional costs involved specifically in carrying out overseas work (e.g. increased postal charges etc.) will be met by the Client.
UK Client payments may be made by BACS (or other form of Bank transfer) or by cheque. All Bank Charges related to Transfers, or in the event of a returned cheque, will be met by the Client.
Payments from overseas customers will be made by Bank Transfer – no overseas cheques can be accepted.
We do not accept payment by Credit Card.
Material - Responsibilities & Standards
Jobsdone.biz is not responsible for the end use of any material authored by us on behalf of Clients, or supplied to us for editing / typing or other forms of processing. Jobsdone.biz reserves the right to refuse to accept, handle or process material which is deemed to be illegal, indecent, dishonest or otherwise offensive. Material is accepted by Jobsdone.biz on the basis that it should not be plagiarised, from any source, and we reserve the right to reject material which we suspect is plagiarised or otherwise in breach of Publishing Laws.
Responsibility for final checking of material returned from Jobsdone.biz as proof read, edited, authored or otherwise processed, will remain with the Client. Jobsdone.biz will be happy to correct any errors or omissions found in finished work, provided the error(s) is reported within 2 working days of the completed work being received by the Client. Should any errors be found in the work, Jobsdone.biz will be liable only for the cost of the work and acknowledges no further liability.
Transfer / Security of Material
All incoming Client emails, disks, files etc. will be scanned for viruses. No attachments to emails will be opened unless we are expecting the attachment, and / or if there is no text in the email accompanying the attachment, and / or if there is no text in the subject line of the email. Clients will be expected to clearly label / identify emails sent to Jobsdone.biz to ensure they are not rejected by ourselves in error.
Jobsdone.biz can accept no reponsibility for material lost en route to us. All original material sent to Jobsdone.biz must be sent by recorded mail, special delivery, or by courier. Material returned to Clients will also be sent by traceable means.
Client material will be held on our systems for 1 year only from date of work. Clients are advised to take back up copies of all original documents, drafts etc. supplied to Jobsdone.biz and of all finished work supplied by Jobsdone.biz
Confidentiality
Client confidentiality is always assured by Jobsdone.biz, however, we are aways happy to sign Confidentiality Agreements with Clients for additional security if required.
